Make-up storage 1.0

Here is a peak of my current make-up collection and storage.
(N.B: I will probably always be looking to improve how I store everything to get it meticulously organised, so this is layout is a work in progress and in no way a perfect example of how to do it!)
I am lucky enough to have been given my grandmothers dressing table to be able to hold and display my most treasured collection. I adore the elegant curved shape of the table top and the circular mirrors.
From L - R; My perfumes, a little decorative dish i picked up from a charity shop to hold my hair pins, an acrylic lipstick holder and storage pots both from amazon and a Revlon magnifying mirror from Boots.
In the first draw I keep skincare such as primers, moisturizers and serums as well as eyeliners, glitters and miscellaneous tools like sharpeners, tweezers and false eyelashes.
The next draw (not shown) holds less interesting stuff like body butters, hair products and brushes.
Underneath on the floor I have my hairdryer and straighteners in the lime green spotty box, and within the clear plastic bags is my pro-kit that I carry with me to use on clients.

Misc photo of a make-up for evening.

Wish I could remember what lip product combo this was!

Red eyebrow alert...

Terrible lighting in my bathroom late at night; but this look is gold glowing skin, orange cheeks, strong red brows and glittery lips using a few amazing products from British born makeup brand Illamasqua.

1. Illamasqua 'Angled Brow Brush'
2. Illamasqua Powder Blusher in 'Expose'
3. Illamasqua 'Sealing Gel'
4. Illamasqua Pure Pigment in 'Berber'

I used a matte red eye shadow on the fantastically firm 'Angled Brow Brush' for a defined statement brow, applied a swirl of the bright true orange 'Expose' blush on the top of my cheekbones, then mixed the 'Sealing Gel' with the Pure Pigment in 'Berber' (which is a highly pigmented auburn-red colour shot through with green and gold shimmers) and patted it into my lips for it to stick in place!

Experiment V6

A very basic mapping out of areas of contouring/highlighting on the face & bone structure.

Butterfly Girl

I love butterflies, which for a girl is nothing new!
(Spy the wooden butterfly & photo of beautiful Kirsten Dunst as Marie Antoinette in the background)
So here is a play around with the cool toned shades in my palettes with various pigments and glitters on top.
My favourite part of the look is actually the last thing I added which is the little blue freckles on the cheeks made with Illamasqua Medium Pencil in 'Debonair'!

Experiment V5

GLITTER!

Experiment V4

I have no description for this one! I wanted it to be a little strange and space-age with the angled (spock!) eyebrows and the haze of blending.

Experiment V3

Neon Rave Party Make-up!

Experiment V2

To do this really cool space-like effect I actually put a pair of fishnet tights over my head and stippled through colours with a densely packed brush.
